Virtual walk in future Oulunkylä
City of Helsinki composed three idea models of possible urban structures for the centre of Oulunkylä neighbourhood. These models envision the the potential related to upcoming urban infill projects in the vicinity of both the main railroad line and the Jokeri Light Rail Line. These projects, together with the excellent public transport services in the area, will bring new residents and services to the area.
The applied games team at WSP in Finland provided a virtual walk application for the web which aims at activating public discussion about the future of the neighborhood. What will the urban structure in Oulunkylä look like in fifteen years?
